WHAT SIZE HAT DO I BUY MY <?> YEAR OLD?
How long is a piece of string?
No one of us is the same, and that includes our head sizing.
We sell our items worldwide, and differing cultures have differing standard head sizing!
Generalising a head size by age is an 'assumption', and you know what they say about assumptions!
For this reason, we now label our hats by size, not age. To determine the correct fit for your child, please use our size guides available within each product specific to its design and choose via head circumference relevant to the little one you are buying for.

WILL YOU BE RESTOCKING THE FLOPPY & SAILOR HATS?
Yes. But our next restock is not anticipated until Spring 2025.
HOW DO I COMPARE THE SIZING OF YOUR 'ORIGINAL' FLOPPY SWIM HAT TO THE CURRENT NEW VERSION STOCK?

Example. If you are seeking what would have been the 6+ year size in the original version, this was a 54-55cm hat suited to a 52-53cm head size, therefore we suggest the current L size which is suited to a head size of 50-54cm
** Please ALWAYS measure your child's head size before purchase.

WHY HAS MY ORDER NOT BEEN SHIPPED?
All orders are shipped from our distribution warehouse in Cheltenham, Victoria (Australia) within 1-3 business days of order. Please expect possible delays during sale events.
Have you purchased a pre-order item in addition to other items? Your order will be held for shipment until ALL items become available unless you have contacted hello@finithelabel.com.au and requested a split shipment (in which case 2 shipping charges will be applied).
WHY DO YOU NOT OFFER EXCHANGE FOR HEADWEAR DUE TO INCORRECT SIZE ORDERED?
Hygiene! As a brand dedicated to providing high-quality, long-lasting headwear for children, we maintain a strict return policy due to hygiene reasons. We understand that this may not always align with customer expectations, and we regularly review our policies to ensure we offer the best possible shopping experience. However, allowing exchanges for worn or tried-on headwear would compromise our strict hygiene standards and also result in increased costs, which would ultimately impact our pricing.
And please note that we are not the only store with this strict policy. Many stores/brands will have an exception in their return/exchange policy in relation to exclude hygiene items, namely headwear, eyewear, earrings, underwear, swimwear etc.
